MPs will question witnesses on the performance of programmes such as Restart, as well as those aimed specifically at people with disabilities and/or long-term physical and mental health conditions, such as Universal Support and Individual Placement and Support. There will also be questions on the Government’s proposals for increased conditionality and sanctions.

MPs will also ask about the outcome of the Government’s consultation on interim reforms to the WCA ahead of its removal (planned for the next Parliament) and about changes to conditionality for parents claiming Universal Credit.

Giving evidence will be representatives from charities and organisations involved in supporting people into work.
