Levelling-Up Committee questions Lord Morse for Office for Local Government (Oflog) inquiry

On Monday 19 February, the Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (LUHC) Committee begins its inquiry on the Office for Local Government (Oflog), which will look at the remit of this new body and how it will engage with local authorities to help raise performance and improve outcomes for people and places (inquiry terms of reference ).

The cross-party group of MPs will question Lord Amyas Morse (Interim Chair) and Josh Goodman (Chief Executive), Oflog.

  • Oflog’s purpose and role
  • How Oflog will collect and use data
  • Oflog’s ‘Early Warning Conversations’ with local authorities
  • Governance arrangements, including Oflog’s independence.
