This Wednesday (7 February) the Public Services Committee is hearing from local authorities (Essex County Council and Bristol City Council) and the Local Government Association on the support local authorities are required to provide for young disabled people moving from education into employment. Â
The session will also examine how effectively local authorities can meet these duties, what good practice has been developed to deliver good outcomes for young disabled people during this transition, and the effectiveness of Government support.
