PSNI Leaks: Policing Board to be questioned in Stormont
The Northern Ireland Policing Board will be questioned in Stormont over their handling of PSNI data leaks by the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee.
Meeting details
The leaks have left some PSNI officers fearing reprisals. In an evidence session earlier this month, the Committee heard, among other evidence, that Catholic officers are being told to take their guns to Sunday Mass.
Media opportunity
After the evidence session, there will be an opportunity for a doorstep interview with Committee Chair Simon Hoare in front of the Great Hall Staircase in Stormont’s Parliament Building. This will be time-limited to 15 minutes.
The session is expected to last around 90 minutes.
Non pass holders should show their press or employer passes at the main door. You will then be given a pass for the building at the security desk.
The public gallery will be open to view proceedings.
