Preventing ill-health: MPs to examine how ‘healthy places’ can promote wellness

The role of ‘healthy places’ is the second theme to be explored by the Committee in its major inquiry into how to prevent ill-health. MPs will consider how the places people live can encourage or discourage physical activities such as sport, exercise, leisure and active travel with former professional cyclist Chris Boardman among the witnesses.
