The Work and Pensions Committee holds a one-off evidence session examining DWP’s plans to introduce Pensions Dashboards.
The Government announced in March a delay to the delivery of the Dashboards, which are aimed at letting people access all their pension information in one place. Pensions Minister Laura Trott MBE MP, who will be giving evidence to the Committee along with DWP officials, told Parliament on Monday that a decision had been taken to reset the programme as more time was needed to develop the systems needed to support the delivery of Dashboards.
Meeting details
The service is being developed by the Pensions Dashboard Programme (PDP), under the supervision of the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS). The first panel will feature the Chair of the MaPS and the Principal of the PDP. They are likely to face questions on the revised timetable for the programme and how Pensions Dashboards will benefit users in making decisions about their pensions.
