Meeting details
The Office for National Statistics published the latest inflation figures that also showed food and non-alcoholic food price rises easing slightly but remaining at a stubbornly high 18.4%.
The Committee also takes evidence from the Groceries Code Adjudicator on its recent performance and its future plans for ensuring that retailers treat their direct suppliers lawfully and fairly.
Sir Robert Goodwill and Ian Byrne, members of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee, are also expected to be taking part in the session.
