The Artificial Intelligence in Weapon Systems Committee holds the seventh and eighth evidence sessions of its inquiry. In the seventh session it will hear from Lord Sedwill, previously National Security Advisor, and Hugh Durrant-Whyte, Director of the Centre for Translation Data at the University of Sydney on the national security implications of the development and use of AI weapons. In the eighth session it will hear from Richard Moyes, Managing Director at Article36 and Professor Noel Sharkey, Emeritus Professor of AI and Robotics and Professor of Public Engagement at the University of Sheffield on the case for regulating AI weapons.
