This is an annual scrutiny session in relation to the Government’s Conflict, Stability and Security Fund, a cross-government fund that tackles conflict, stability and security challenges overseas that threaten the UK’s national security. In late January 2023, the Government published the CSSF Annual Report for 2021-22, and this evidence session provides an opportunity to scrutinise the report. The Government also published the CSSF allocations for the latest financial year, 2022-23, in a Written Ministerial Statement. Since the publication of the report and allocations, the Government has announced that the CSSF will be replaced with the UK Integrated Security Fund (UKISF).
