Treasury Committee questions Office for Budget Responsibility on Spring Budget

The Treasury Committee will question independent economic forecaster the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) on the Spring Budget at 2.15pm on Wednesday 22 March.

Likely areas of questioning

In the second of a series of sessions scrutinising the Budget, the cross-party Committee of MPs is likely to examine the impact of the Chancellor’s announcement on households and businesses across the UK, and on inflation, taxation and economic growth.

The Committee will question the Chancellor on the measures announced in the Budget at 9.45am on Wednesday 29March. The MPs will gather economist views at 9.45am on Tuesday 21 March.
