MPs hears from organisations supporting women in music

The second evidence session of the misogyny in music inquiry hears from organisations that support women in the music industry. MPs  explores the support available to women experiencing sexism or misogyny in the music industry, including reporting harassment and discrimination, as well as women’s safety at live music events.

The first session heard from experts that the music industry is like the “wild west” compared to traditional workplaces in terms of reporting and tackling misogyny.

In the inquiry, the Committee seeks to understand how Government and industry bodies can tackle misogynistic attitudes in the music industry.
