Climate Change Committee to give evidence on food security
The Environmental Audit Committee is to hold its first evidence session on ‘Environmental change and food security’, hearing from the Climate Change Committee’s (CCC) Baroness Brown and Richard Millar.
The Committee’s inquiry will consider the UK’s preparedness for and resilience to future food supply stresses or shocks caused by climate change, biodiversity loss and other environmental changes. This evidence session with Baroness Brown, Chair of the CCC’s Adaptation Committee, and Richard Millar, the CCC’s Head of Adaptation, will offer an overview of the key issues.
