The Committee examines the value for money and progress of the Government’s strategy for its offices and workforce, which includes relocating over 20,000 posts outside of London and setting up regional hubs. The impact of hybrid working on the Government’s planning will also be considered.
The session will probe the Government’s latest property strategy, published by the Cabinet Office in August 2022 under the former Minister for Brexit Opportunities and Government Efficiency Jacob Rees-Mogg.
