The European Scrutiny Committee questions a panel of trade experts on the impact that trade deals signed after Brexit, particularly the UK-EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA), have on the UK’s ability to regulate freely.

During the session, MPs will also look at the effect the TCA and recently signed free trade deals with other countries effect different sectors’ manufacturing and operating rules.

This will give a better picture of the regulatory landscape to as part of the Committee’s regulating after Brexit inquiry.
