UK labour supply inquiry: recruitment industry to discuss labour market data
On Thursday 13 October, the Economic Affairs Committee holds its next oral evidence sessions on UK labour supply.
At 10am, the Committee will hear from Kate Shoesmith, Deputy CEO at Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) and Lauren Thomas, UK Economist at Glassdoor
At 11am, the Committee will hear from Hannah Slaughter, Senior Economist and Ian Stewart, Partner, Chief Economist at Deloitte

- Labour supply trends and the effects of the pandemic

Vacancies are still at record levels and above pre-pandemic levels in all industries. The Committee seeks to examine the causes of the reduction in the size of the labour force and which sectors are most affected.
