Lords Land Use Committee hears evidence on Planning and Development
The Lords Land Use Committee holds its twelfth and thirteenth evidence session of its Land Use in England Inquiry. In these sessions it will hear evidence on what changes need to be made to the planning system to ensure that it is able to respond to the demands on land use in the future. In the twelfth session it will hear from Tim Slaney, Director of Planning at the South Downs National Park Authority, Maria Dunn, Head of Planning Policy at Birmingham City Council, and Richard Cooke, Principle Spatial Planner at Essex County Council. In the thirteenth session it will hear from Richard Blyth, Head of Policy Practice and Research at RTPI, Hugh Ellis, Policy Director at TCPA and Paul Miner, Head of Land Use and Planning at CPRE.
