Purpose of the Session
The Committee will explore issues around the delivery of basic services in DRC. It will first question philanthropist and model Noella Coursaris Musunka on the difficulties of providing a basic education to Congolese children, before looking at access to primary healthcare with IMA World Health, the organisation responsible for delivering DFID's largest health programme in DRC.
The Committee will then conclude its inquiry by challenging the DFID Minister responsible for Africa on how DFID is performing in its work in DRC; putting to him criticisms and comments that the Committee has heard in written and oral evidence.
