Purpose of the Session
This session focuses on DFID's work in Burma.
The first panel of witnesses, including representatives from Fortify Rights and the Kachin Relief Fund, will discuss the ethnic conflicts in Burma, the peace process and the UK's contribution.
The second panel of witnesses, including an academic and a representative from the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, will discuss DFID's parliament and democracy work in Burma.
