Purpose of the Session

This is a one-off evidence session exploring how DFID allocates resources, and in particular:

  • The implications of the Comprehensive Spending Review (CSR) and the new Overseas Development Assistance (ODA) strategy
  • The balance of multilateral, bilateral and humanitarian spending
  • DFIDs and HMG's capacity to deliver on new priorities on prosperity and working with Fragile and Conflict Affected States
  • The impact of new priorities on DFID's existing focus on poverty reduction and the Sustainable Development Goals
