Minister questioned on humanitarian crisis in South Sudan

International Development Committee hears from experts and the responsible Government Minister in examining the UK's contributions to tackling the on-going crisis in South Sudan, the world's newest nation.

Purpose of the Session

The Committee will be assessing the current political and humanitarian situation of the people of South Sudan: the observance of their human rights, access to basic services, the incidence of gender based violence, food insecurity and problems accessing healthcare.
