The Committee will question the Home Secretary on the Government plans for immigration and asylum. With net migration falling, but still above what the Government views as sustainable, the Committee will examine the potential impact of the Immigration White Paper on migration and the economy.
The session will also examine what progress has been made in reducing illegal migration, in particular tackling the people smuggling networks profiting from small boat crossings.
Other areas of questioning are likely to include neighbourhood policing and policing reform, counter-extremism, violence against women and girls, and child exploitation.
