Minister questioned on Channel crossings

The Home Affairs Committee examines the current situation with Channel crossings, including recent data on crossings over the summer and the response by UK border force and other agencies. It will look at the changing nationality profile of arrivals, in particular the growth of channel migrants from Albania, and the reasons for this. It will also examine progress in working with international partners to combat organised crime groups facilitating channel crossings.
