The Home Affairs Committee holds an evidence session on the proceeds of crime.

Chair's comments
The Chair of the Committee, Rt Hon Keith Vaz MP, said:
"The Committee will question the CPS and NCA – the agencies charged with uncovering, and recovering, criminal assets and capital – about what new powers or capabilities they need to start to become more effective in collecting the estimated £1.61bn of debt outstanding from confiscation orders.
The Committee will also hear evidence from Phil Gormley, Chief Constable of Police Scotland, for the first time since his appointment."
