Chair's comments
Rt Hon Keith Vaz MP, Chair of the Committee, said:
"This inquiry was inspired by worrying evidence of a growing resurgence in anti-Semitism across Europe, and these issues have recently been brought to prominence again in the UK.
We will be calling all the main party leaders to present their party stances on this issue and we are grateful to Angus Robertson for being the first to appear.
We are also grateful to the Board of Deputies of British Jews for coming to give us an overview of this issue, and we will be hearing from former London Mayor Ken Livingstone who was recently suspended from the Labour Party prior to the launch of an inquiry into anti-Semitism in the Party."
