Committee examines hate crime with newspaper editors

The Home Affairs Committee hears from editors of national newspapers and the Editors' Code Committee – the body responsible for the press standards code – on whether there is an issue with treatment of minority groups in the print media, the adequacy of the Editors' Code in protecting minority groups from discrimination, and the responsibilities of the print media.
