Session background
The Committee hears from two panels of experts, including the Children's Commissioner and representatives from the Institute for Fiscal Studies, the Nuffield Trust, the WAVE Trust, the Big Lottery Fund and the Early Intervention Foundation.
The session will examine trends in health inequalities in childhood in England and public spending on children's services.
The session will also explore what experts think the key interventions are during this critical time of life to improve long term outcomes for children.
