Purpose of the session
The Health and Social Care Committee's role is to examine the policy, administration and expenditure of the Department of Health and Social Care and its associated bodies. NHS England receives and spends the vast majority of the Department's funding. In January 2019, NHS England published its Long Term Plan, setting out its strategy and priorities for the future.
The session will explore the Long Term Plan, funding and workforce amongst other things.
