Purpose of the session

In the context of Coronavirus, the main responsibilities of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office are to provide travel advice on affected countries and consular support for British nationals who are in affected areas.

This session will examine the FCO's role in offering consular assistance and repatriation to UK nationals overseas affected by coronavirus. It will also explore the UK’s diplomatic support for the WHO and international efforts to combat the virus.
