Maya Lester QC questioned on future of UK sanctions policy

The Foreign Affairs Committee holds an evidence session on Global Britain: The future of UK sanctions policy.

In this session we will ask Maya Lester QC about UK sanctions policy, enforcement and implementation. We will explore topics including the use of Magnitsky sanctions and how sanctions may be used to prevent money laundering.

Ms Lester has a particular expertise in the law relating to economic sanctions and within her profession, has earned the name of “Queen of the Sanctions Bar.”
