Arbitration Bill [HL] Special Public Bill Committee

Special Public Bill Committees are committees which are empowered to take written and oral evidence on a bill. Following such evidence taking, the Committee is able to amend the bill before reporting it to the House.

Law Commission bills are normally committed to Special Public Bill Committees. This bill, the Arbitration Bill [HL], was committed on 17 January 2024.

The Committee considered amendments to the bill on 27 March 2024 [Hansard]. The bill was amended and that version is available on the Arbitration Bill [HL] publications page. The Committee concluded on its agreement to the bill as amended.
