Purpose of session
The purpose of this evidence session is to question the witnesses on:
- the re-negotiation process
- the nature of the legal commitments required in order to deliver an outcome that is legally binding and irreversible
- the political and legal probability of delivering fundamental change in each of the Government's four areas of negotiation — sovereignty, fairness, free movement and competitiveness
