Non-inquiry sessions are brief packages of work that will not necessarily result in a report. They may be used to revisit previous inquiry topics or take evidence on a topical matter.
Pre-appointment hearings
People nominated to certain public offices may be examined by a committee to assess their suitability and plans for the role.

How do we retrofit UK homes for net zero?
Minister for energy consumers Miatta Fahnbulleh will make her first appearance at the Committee on Wednesday 4 December, in a one-off session on retrofitting our homes for Net Zero. The UK Government has recently announced changes to its home heating schemes and policy.
