The Environmental Audit Committee hold its third and final public hearing examining evidence and witnesses for the Committee's inquiry into the Future of Chemicals Regulation after the EU Referendum.

Purpose of the session
The session starts with a panel discussion of the current approach to chemicals regulation in the UK, examining how the bodies involved interact and the resources required for regulation, with witnesses from the European Chemicals Agency, the Environment Agency, and the Health and Safety Executive.
The panel will be followed by a session with Dr Thérèse Coffey MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Environment and Rural Life Opportunities. This session will discuss the future of chemicals regulation, asking the Minister to provide an indication of their plans for the sector.
