Joint Committee on the Draft Mental Health Bill established

19 July 2022

The Joint Committee on the draft Mental Health Bill has been established by the House of Lords and the House of Commons. The Joint Committee has been appointed to consider the Government's draft Bill which aims to modernise the Mental Health Act for the 21st century.

The Committee is required to report by 16 December 2022. Further details on the Committee’s work will follow in due course.
