Joint Committee on the draft Online Safety Bill to meet with EU online safety experts to discuss EU Digital Services Act

A Committee of MPs and Peers will meet with EU representatives and online safety experts in Brussels on November 8 to discuss their latest plans for digital regulation through the EU Digital Services Act (DSA.)
The Joint Committee on the draft Online Safety Bill, chaired by Damian Collins MP, is currently scrutinising proposals in the draft Online Safety Bill and will use the opportunity to compare and contrast the different systems of potential systems of regulation for online safety.
Chair of the Joint Committee, Damian Collins MP, said:
“The Committee will be meeting with officials in Brussels to discuss the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), and to compare and contrast the DSA with the Online Safety Bill.”
