New Environmental Land Management Scheme: Implications for farmers

The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee is to hold the first oral evidence session in its inquiry into Environmental Land Management and the agricultural transition.

Purpose of the session

In this session, MPs will investigate the implications for farmers of the Government's plans, hearing from representatives of national farming groups. Topics will include the rollout of the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI), the concerns of the tenant farming and common land sectors, and the role of livestock farming in the Government’s plans.
