- George Eustice MP, Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
Neil Parish MP, Chair of the EFRA Committee, said:
"Today Defra published its new Agricultural Transition Plan, just one of the areas our Committee is taking a close interest in. With just one month left until the end of the Brexit transition period, there are key questions that need to be answered about fisheries agreements, trade tariffs and border controls and how they will impact on our food supplies. We need reassurance that Defra and the food and fishing industries are prepared."
