COVID-19 and food supply: third public evidence session announced

The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (EFRA) Select Committee is to hold its third public evidence session as part of its inquiry into COVID-19 and food supply. The session will take place on Tuesday, 19th May at 2.30pm.
Purpose of the session
The session will examine the challenges the coronavirus has raised for the food processing and wholesale sectors, the impact of the virus on food imports and exports, and the issues still facing the food supply chain as the Covid-19 situation develops.
