The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee hears from the Groceries Code Adjudicator examining her role in managing the relationship between supermarkets and suppliers. The Committee also questions the Minister of State on the Government's role in supporting the agricultural sector.

Purpose of session

The Committee hears from the Groceries Code Adjudicator examining her role in overseeing the relationship between the ten largest UK supermarkets and their suppliers.

In the second panel, the Committee hears from George Eustice MP, Minister of State for Farming, Food and the Marine Environment examining the Government's role in supporting the agricultural sector.
