Beef grading prices examined with processors and retail sector

Farmers have expressed concerns over recent changes to cattle payment grids, which have reduced bonuses on better quality cattle, and has pushed more animals outside the desired grades with increased penalties for heavier carcasses. The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee hears from processors and representatives from the retail sector.
