Committee questions Minister about future UK-EU cooperation on international development

The EU Security and Justice Sub-Committee takes evidence from the Rt Hon. Anne-Marie Trevelyan MP, Secretary of State for International Development, about the Government's plans for future UK-EU collaboration on international development after the end of transition period.

Topics for discussion
Discussions will focus on the Government's plans for future collaboration with EU states on international development and the findings of the Lords EU External Relations Sub-Committee's inquiry into international development cooperation after Brexit, held earlier this year, to which the Secretary of State offered to respond. Following the recent announcement of the merger of DfID with the FCO, the meeting will also discuss how this could affect future UK international development policy. Specifically, topics will include:
