25 October 2018
The European Statutory Instruments Committee recommends one proposed EU (Withdrawal) Act secondary legislation for further debate in the House.
Following the Committee's meeting on 23 October, its fourth report of Session 2017-19 has been published.
The report recommends that one negative instrument be subject to the affirmative procedure:
- The Consumer Protection (Enforcement) (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018
The report also details four further proposed negative instruments laid by the Government, none of which the Committee has recommended be subject to the affirmative procedure.
The full report with the Committee's recommendations can be found here.
The Committee will next meet on 30 October.
