Committee holds Parliament week stakeholder engagement event

17 October 2018

The Houses of Parliament celebrates Parliament week 2018 between the 12 and the 18 November. The European Statutory Instruments Committee would therefore like to take the opportunity to invite stakeholders interested in engaging with the work of the Committee to a lunch time event Monday 12 November.

During the event you will learn more about statutory instruments, how  the Committee works and how to engage in the scrutiny of proposed negative instruments. There will also be time for questions toward the end of the event.

When and where?

Date: Monday 12 November
Time: 12.15pm - 1.45pm
Venue: 1 Parliament Street, London

The event is free to attend, but spaces are very limited.

To ensure we have attendance across various industries, please email esic@parliament.uk with the following information:

  • Name
  • Role (and whether you are involved with Statutory Instruments)
  • Organisation

You will then receive an email back confirming whether we are able to provide a space.

Refreshments will be provided.

If you know anyone else who would be interested, please pass on this information.

If you can't make it but would like to hear more about the work of the European Statutory Instruments Committee, let us know by emailing ESIC@parliament.uk.
