Four statutory instruments recommended for further debate

Following the Committee's meeting on 4 December, its tenth report of Session 2017-19 has been published.
The report details proposed negative instruments laid by the Government, four of which the Committee has recommended be subject to the affirmative procedure:
- The Aquatic Animal Health and Alien Species in Aquaculture (Amendment) (Northern Ireland) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018
- The Common Agricultural Policy and Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018
- The Criminal Justice (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018
- The European Structural and Investment Funds Common Provisions Rules etc. (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018
The Committee will next meet on Tuesday 11 December, to consider further proposed negative instruments. These can be viewed, along with explanatory memorandums, via the Committee's new engagement tool.
