This session of the inquiry into the future of public service broadcasting will seek expert perspectives on the impact of streaming services and the obligations PSBs have to provide public benefit and serve diverse communities, with questions around commitment to regional programming and the provision of children’s content.
The session will also focus on inequality and discrimination within the TV industry, including the lack of diversity in the workforce as well as how practices can be improved.
