Team Sky doping investigation: Committee publishes MHPRA letter

2 March 2017

The Culture, Media and Sport Committee has published a letter received from the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHPRA) in relation to the ongoing investigations into allegations of doping at Team Sky.

The Committee heard evidence this afternoon from Simon Cope, former Women's Team Coach at British Cycling, and Nicole Sapstead, Chief Executive Officer of the UK Anti-Doping Agency investigating the 'package' delivered to Sir Bradley Wiggins in 2011. The letter is in response to the Committee's inquiries about the regulation of medicines and Dr Richard Freeman's actions in relation to the incident.
