Following revelations last weekend from the Observer, Channel 4 and the New York Times that 50 million Facebook users' data was allegedly used by British firm Cambridge Analytica (CA) to micro target voters during the Trump campaign, the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee questions Christopher Wylie and Paul-Olivier Dehaye.

Background
The Committee uses this opportunity to ask Christopher Wylie about his role with Cambridge Analytica and subsequent events.
Paul-Olivier Dehaye, also gives evidence as an expert on this subject, as someone who has challenged Cambridge Analytica in the past on their use of such data.

- On Tuesday 20th March 2018, the Committee Chair Damian Collins MP wrote to Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, requesting evidence. The deadline for their response is Monday 26th March 2018.
- On Thursday 22nd March 2018, the Committee wrote to Alexander Nix, the suspended CEO of Cambridge Analytica, recalling him to Parliament to give evidence. The deadline for his response is Tuesday 27th March 2018.
