Administration of football clubs evidence session announced

The inquiry into the administration of football clubs will hold its first evidence session on Monday 21 October 2019.

About the session

The DCMS Committee set up the inquiry following the decision by the English Football League (EFL) to expel Bury Football Club. The Committee will hear directly from representatives of supporters' organisation ‘Forever Bury' about the impact the decision has had on the community. The evidence session is also expected to consider the effectiveness of current regulation, the owners' and directors' test, and what needs to be done to strengthen football governance.
