Focus of the session
The evidence session marks the first hearing of the Committee's inquiry into the social impact of participation in culture and sport.
The inquiry aims to assess how participation in culture and sport can affect crime, education, community engagement and diversity, social mobility, and health.
The session will provide an overview of some the key debates in the cultural and sporting spheres, and will offer some provisional lines of inquiry.Witnesses
