The Committee continues its inquiry into Disinformation and 'fake news' with Ofcom Chief Executive Sharon White and Chair Lord Burns giving their response the DCMS Committee's interim report.

Focus of the session
Along with disinformation and 'fake news' the session is also expected to focus on Ofcom's role as a broadcast regulator, the scope for broadening its regulatory role to cover social media or online content, and the current work and priorities for Ofcom.
